is a division of Addoceo Catholic Ministries, a Federally Designated 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, that produces and delivers high-quality, authentic Catholic content. We aim to Entertain, Educate and Evangelize. With the support of generous donors we are able to produce independent Catholic content in film, books, social videos, ministry materials, podcasts, blogs and other various media forms.

Founder & CEO

After 30+ years in corporate and commercial media, Frank accepted the Holy Spirit’s call to use his expertise for the glory of God. He founded Studio 1864 and Addoceo Catholic Ministries to evangelize and teach through the art of storytelling and the beauty of digital media.

Frank is an award winning writer, filmmaker, and marketing professional with 16 years of Catholic education. He received his B.A. in Mass Communications from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and his M.A. in Journalism from Governor’s State University.

COO

Serving as a teacher in Catholic higher education for most of her life, Dr. Cyndi Grobmeier answered the call to bring her passion for supporting others in their lifelong learning journey to Addoceo Catholic Ministries. She hopes that giving voice to others through multimedia storytelling will inspire everyone to learn how to truly live their Catholic faith.

A published author and researcher, Cyndi serves as a Strategic Communication Professor and Director of Faculty Development at Saint Xavier University. She received her B.A. in Mass Communication from Saint Xavier, her M.A. in Communication Studies from Governor’s State University, and her Ed.D. in Higher Education from Northern Illinois University. She holds a certificate of Online Teaching from the University of Illinois ION program as well as a Certificate of Teaching and Learning at Hispanic Serving Institutions through ESCALA Educational Services. 

Executive Producer / Art Director

Sam Grobmeier (she/her) is a Chicagoland-born, NYC-based producer & actor who merges her advocacy and art through bringing important, untold stories to the stage and screen. Her passions for mental health and disability awareness, organ donation education, and women’s rights play a big part in her work.

Sam was the associate producer of the award-winning documentaries Teach Life and GIFTED: The Docuseries. She has also assisted producers on numerous shows on and off Broadway & most recently was the executive producer of All the Frozen Ones, a staged reading of a new play starring Tony Award-winner Robert Sean Leonard. She received her BFA in Drama with a minor in Producing from NYU Tisch and her MBA from Saint Xavier University.
